As VP Marketing with Tech Mahindra, I led business development against competition from heavyweights such as Accenture, EDS, Infosys, and Wipro. Successfully diversifying into the telecom carrier market segment, I landed clients including AT&T, Telcordia, and more.
I launched this provider of Quality of Service (QoS) software in 2000 to deliver broadband internet solutions. I hired the executive team, R&D professionals, and marketing talent; grew the company through partnerships; and later negotiated the sale of the company.
As a Product Line Manager with one of the world’s leading telecom equipment vendors, I positioned its network management software and telecom hardware products to drive sales growth. In 2 years, I defined a new business strategy, closed deals valued at $1M to $10M, and established partnerships with COTS vendors.
I was recruited from Telstra to assist in launching a new software R&D unit in Australia. My responsibilities touched on developing solution architecture, collaborating with software groups worldwide, and developing new channels for products.
At Telstra, Australia’s largest telecom service provider, I was a Project Manager and Lead Engineer.
Early experience includes Software and Industrial Engineering roles in Thailand and India.
